Westnet: Gold Award for AUX marketing campaign

Westnet, a member of Olympia Group of Companies and a top distributor in technology products in Greece and Cyprus, received a Gold Distinction in the international MarCom Awards 2021, for the successful marketing campaign implemented earlier this year, in the context of the launch of AUX home air conditioning products in Greece.

Westnet was distinguished in the category “Strategic Communications – Marketing/Promotion Campaign – Product Launch” for the innovative campaign “Out-of-the-bAUX”, which included targeted activities – radio spots, outdoor advertising on city buses and underground, print advertisements – aiming to place the AUX brand in the Greek market. In order to enhance its brand awareness among consumers and establish it as a reliable proposition in the field of air conditioning, the campaign was built on a series of smart messages, educating the public about the product aspects that make AUX an attractive option.

MarCom Awards is an international awards institution that rewards excellence in marketing and communication, recognizing the effort and creativity of industry professionals. Since its start in 2004, MarCom has been developed into one of the largest and most-respected competitions in the world, attracting more than 6,500 nominations from dozens of countries each year. MarCom is sponsored by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), an international organization born in 1995, which is consisted of several creative professionals from the areas of marketing, communication, advertising, public relations.

Westnet’s campaign was implemented in collaboration with the advertising company TRABAHO and Interbus, a specialized company in the field of outdoor advertising.
