2005
That year marks the birth of Westnet, established by Panos Germanos, founder of Olympia Group of Companies.
2006
We extend our presence in the market by opening a new branch in Thessaloniki, strategically positioned to cater to the growing demands of Northern Greece's market.
2007 – 2017
Over the course of a decade, we have successfully forged strategic partnerships with big multinational tech vendors, enabling us to expand our commercial activities across a wide spectrum of product categories. As a result of these collaborations, we provide customers with an extensive range of cutting-edge technology solutions. Our offerings in local market include Devices, Enterprise, Peripherals, Accessories & Vision, delivering high-quality products that drive efficiency and productivity for all business needs.
2017
We are pleased to announce the successful establishment of our new subsidiary in Cyprus, Westnet Distribution Ltd, strategically expanding our business out of Greece.
2018
This is a year of dynamic activity for Westnet. We start developing our business in white goods category, establishing a new business unit. In addition, we assume an exclusive partnership contract for Toshiba’s consumer batteries, marking our opening up in exports within Europe, Middle East and Africa.
2021
We enter in the category of residential air conditioning in partnership with AUX Group, a leading manufacturer worldwide. Moreover, we enrich our portfolio of energy solutions, undertaking a new exclusive contract for Toshiba’s led lighting in Europe. In July 2021, we further expand our business across geographies, starting our operation in Poland with a new subsidiary, Westnet Distribution Poland sp. z o.o.
2022
We expand our collaboration with AUX in commercial air conditioning. In that way, we provide access to a complete portfolio that can serve the needs of AC professionals in the best way.
2023
We continue to highly invest in Clima business, launching AUX’s heat pumps in the local market. Later, we announce our entry in photovoltaics, offering cutting-edge energy solutions for the implementation of residential PV systems.
2024
We further invest in consumer goods business, introducing new products and partnerships in major and small home appliances.
