Westnet announces the launch of its partnership with Checkpoint, the leading supplier of cybersecurity solutions for governments and corporate enterprises globally. This new partnership includes Westnet’s distribution of Check Point’s award-winning cybersecurity solutions to small and large enterprises and other organizations, with the aim of protecting them from internet threats.
The need to protect companies’ sensitive data is one of the greatest challenges of our time. In 2017 alone, over 100,000 companies and 400,000 devices globally were exposed to the Wannacry virus, costing affected companies a total of $4 billion. By partnering with Check Point, Westnet is further enhancing its portfolio with the provision of leading internet threat solutions, with the guarantee provided by the market leader’s many years of experience.
A recent Forrester Wave report found Check Point’s SandBlast Agent to be the most secure and comprehensive endpoint security proposal on the market. Based on this report, Check Point received the highest possible rankings in the following criteria:
• Malware prevention
• Exploit prevention
• Secure configuration management
• Data security
• Mobile
• Zero-trust framework alignment
Commenting on this major new partnership, Westnet’s General Manager, George Daviotis, said: “Our new partnership with a global leader, Check Point, strengthens our position in Greece, enabling us to provide even more effective services to modern companies that want to protect their data in the most reliable way. This new addition to our product portfolio shows how dedicated we are to providing the most comprehensive next-generation solutions to our client companies, so that they can enjoy the highest possible security for their data”.
Yannis Gikas, Check Point’s Regional Manager for Greece, Cyprus, Romania and Bulgaria, stated: “We are pleased to be partnering with Westnet, the leading technology product distributor in Greece and Cyprus, because it is a reliable partner with recognized partnerships in the technology sector.
